Water covers 70% of our planet, but only 3% of it is fresh water. And of that, two-thirds is tucked away in frozen glaciers or otherwise unavailable for our use. As a result, some 1.1 billion people worldwide lack access to water, and a total of 2.7 billion find water scarce for at least one month of the year.

The Reality of Scarcity

Many of the water systems that keep ecosystems thriving and feed a growing human population have become stressed. Rivers, lakes, and aquifers are drying up or becoming too polluted to use. With the current consumption rate, this situation will only worsen.

Why It Matters

Water is fundamental to life. Its scarcity impacts sanitation, agriculture, and industry. In India specifically, ground water levels are depleting at an alarming rate due to excessive extraction and lack of replenishment.

What Can We Do?

The solution starts with awareness and individual responsibility. While governments and large organizations have a role to play, households account for a significant portion of water usage. Simple steps like fixing leaks, using water efficiently, and preventing overflow can collectively make a massive difference.

Technology as an Enabler

This is where H9V Water Tech steps in. We believe that technology should solve fundamental problems. By automating water storage, we eliminate one of the most common sources of urban water wastage: the overflowing overhead tank. It's a small device, but its impact is multiplied by every home that installs it.
